Tools For School

As the summer holidays start approaching there are many things on parent's minds. Planning days out, keeping the children occupied for 6 long weeks, then of course getting everything ready for the next academic year ahead.
For families living in hostels in Havering, Barking & Dagenham these 6 weeks are extremely long, there are extra meals to budget for as the children wont be having their Free School Meals, they need to think hard on things to do with their children for FREE as money is too tight and then have to start worrying about how they will afford all the needed 'tools' to start the next year in school. Therefore this year we want to help. We will be taking in donations of new and good quality school items.

  • Math Sets

  • Note Books

  • Pencil Cases

  • Bookbags & Lunch Bags

  • Good Quality Gerneric School Uniform

More families fall into financial crisis around the festive season, meaning that many children wake up with nothing from Santa.

We want all of your to help!!! Every year we organise a Christmas Shoebox Appeal. These shoeboxes will be full of small treats for children to open on Christmas morning. These shoeboxes will then be passed over to The Salvation Army on 1st December so they can distribute them to all the families in need, as well as immigration centres, refuges and care homes.

We are lucky enough to be supported by many local Shoe shops who donation empty shoeboxes really to be filled.

Easter eggs.jpg

Easter Egg Appeal

Each Easter we appeal for the local community to donate either a Easter Eggs or a £1 to go towards the cost of one.
Many children in the area are living in secret poverty. Their parents barely affording the cost of living and relying on foodbanks. For these children the Easter bunny will not be visiting their homes. Just one small egg will make this children feel 'normal' like their friends at school.
2017 was the first year we ran this appeal and we had over 400 eggs donated by the local community and 25 for the children in the Royal London Hospital. These donation were all from the local community.
if you would like to help next Easter then please contact us for more information.
